The amp-like knobs are easy to use and let you dial in exactly the level of grime to sludge you're looking for. The Gain knob goes from medium level, slight distortion to a full-on savage beast. The Tone knob quickly adjusts the tone to a smoother or sharper sound, easily satisfying the needs of your tonal-destroying needs. The Body knob specifically controls the low-mid frequencies and accommodates the Tone knob, so for maximum (re: most brutal) results, tweak this one accordingly.
The Greenhouse Effects Sludge Hammer Fuzz pedal is true-bypass, 100% handmade, and powered by a 9V adapter. The graphics Greenhouse Effects is known for portrays the late Echo and the Bunnymen drummer Peter de Freitas on this pedal.
